2015 Cadillac SRX has arrived to Cavender Cadillac

New mid-size SUV has all the luxury of any Cadillac model

SAN ANTONIO, Texas, Aug. 26, 2014 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Cadillac has not remained a premier name in luxury vehicles by ignoring the direct needs of their customers or failing to spot shifting trends in its industry. The 2015 Cadillac SRX in San Antonio, TX that is currently available at Cavender Cadillac, represents the latest edition of Cadillac's evolution. For many years, when customers needed the expanded space of an SUV but wanted one with the features and luxury of a Cadillac, only had the Escalade as an option. By choosing a very competent mid-size crossover SUV, Cadillac has given people more options as well as made the crossover SUV more accessible to the luxury-shopper.

Most of the changes made to the 2015 Cadillac SRX are fairly subtle. Among the changes are items like the having different colors available to choose from as well as a little shuffling of what is included in the different accessories packages that the 2015 SRX has to offer new or current customers of Cavender Cadillac. The Driver Awareness package adds some new safety systems that are designed to prevent accidents from happening in the first place. Forward collision alert, lane departure warning and the safety alert driver's seat have all been made available to the 2015 SRX.

The same engine that has made the previous editions of the Cadillac SRX popular in the highly competitive mid-size SUV class is available for the 2015 SRX. Regardless of which of the four trim levels or accessory packages an owner chooses to take home, the vehicle will have a 3.6-liter, V-6 engine under the hood that can make a total of 308 horsepower and 265 pound-feet of torque. This is enough to comfortably accelerate the 2015 SRX from zero-to-60 mph in about seven seconds. A standard powertrain loadout for the new Cadillac SUV is the previously mentioned engine, with a six-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive. Even with a top towing capacity of 3,500 pounds, the 2015 Cadillac SRX can achieve Environmental Protection Agency fuel-economy scores of 17 miles per gallon in the city and 24 miles per gallon on the highway.

In addition to all the benefits, IoT is also bringing new kind of customer experience challenges - cars that unlock themselves, thermostats turning houses into saunas and baby video monitors broadcasting over the internet.
