NTT Electronics’ New AVC/H.264 Video Encoder “HVE9230” was selected by Aldea Solutions for the worldwide transmission of the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil, which was held from June 12 to July 13, 2014. High quality video from the games was carried over the worldwide transmission network of Aldea and delivered to viewers in North and South America, Europe and Africa.

We have started to use NTT codecs at the 2010 FIFA World Cup and continued to use them for international sports coverage.”
