HolidayCheck, the largest European online travel portal, today announced the start of its Summer Memories Contest, a user-generated holiday reviews contest. To participate, travellers must review a hotel they have stayed in, or an attraction or place on HolidayCheck.com they have visited. Reviews must be submitted between Wednesday 27th August and Tuesday 30th September. Five winners will earn a grand prize of their choice, including an Amazon Kindle Fire 7 HD, Apple iPad mini and GoPro Camera. HolidayCheck will also be giving away additional prizes for holiday reviews, including 10 travel guides and 20 travel kits.
The HolidayCheck Summer Memories contest highlights the advantages of using HolidayCheck for holiday planning. HolidayCheck’s holiday reviews are completely user-generated, meaning all reviews are based on real travel experiences.
"When it comes to holiday reviews, you can trust that travellers on HolidayCheck know the best places to stay, things to do and sights to see," said Peter Schwarzkopf, Head of International Department at HolidayCheck. "By sharing their holiday experiences on HolidayCheck, travellers have made holiday planning much easier for everyone and we are happy to hold this contest to reward the travel community for their contributions.”
Only published reviews will be entered into the Summer Memories contest. There is no entry limit so participants can increase their chances of winning by submitting more reviews.
Residents of the United Kingdom, France, Spain, Czech Republic and Russia aged 18 and over are eligible to participate in the contest. The grand prize winners will be announced on 10th October 2014.
