Public Safety Corporation, Inc. (PSC) announced today that it has signed contracts with the California cities of Arcadia and Folsom to provide PSC’s CryWolf® False Alarm Management software and services to help enforce the cities alarm ordinances. PSC, headquartered in Waldorf, Maryland, developed CryWolf, the industry leading false alarm management solution. Currently used to reduce false alarms in more than 500 cities and counties throughout the U.S. and Canada, CryWolf technology and services have helped agencies reduce false alarms, increase fee and fine collections, and streamline false alarm processing.
Both the cities of Arcadia and Folsom contracted with PSC staff to manage their false alarm programs on an outsource basis. Arcadia is a longtime client and, after a competitive procurement, selected PSC to continue managing the city’s alarm program for another six years. The city of Folsom marks PSC’s 30th California client.
CryWolf provides comprehensive functionality to track alarm activations, process invoices, and collect payments related to false alarms. CryWolf clients report 40% - 80% or more reductions in false alarms resulting from this technology and service.
