ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 27, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- SBG Technology Solutions, a leading information technology, program management and training services provider, was recently awarded a contract with the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) to support its Higher Education Opportunity Program. SBG will provide project management, technical consulting, financial management, performance measurement, and strategic communications support.
The program partners accredited colleges and universities with federal airports and allows Transportation Security Officers to take associate degree-level courses in homeland security and related disciplines. The program provides a valuable opportunity to strengthen our nation's security by bolstering the skills and education of TSA officers. Since its inception in 2008, the program has spread to 157 airports across the country providing officers with unprecedented access to high-quality education opportunities.
SBG announces this multi-year support contract as an addition to its long-standing training support partnership with TSA.
