CHICAGO, Aug. 28, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Jim Kinney, Baird & Warner's vice president of Luxury Home Sales, has been elected to be the 2015 president of the Illinois Association of REALTORS® (IAR). Kinney will be honored at the IAR Inaugural Gala on Saturday, September 6, from 6:30 - 9:00 p.m.

Kinney works in Baird & Warner's Gold Coast office and has been involved with numerous professional real estate organizations during his career. He was named "REALTOR® of the Year" by the Chicago Association of REALTORS® and IAR, and served as dean of the REALTOR® Institute, president of the Real Estate Education Foundation, and president of the National Board of the Council of Real Estate Brokerage Managers. He holds the Certified Real Estate Specialist (CRS) designation, served as the Illinois CRS chapter president, and was twice recognized as "CRS of the Year." Kinney served on the National Association of REALTORS® executive committee and is a current member of FIABCI, the international real estate federation.
