New York, August 29th, 2014 - EasyVista Inc. (www.easyvista.com), a global leader in IT Service and Asset Management solutions, is pleased by its overall performance within the Gartner Critical Capabilities assessment for IT Service Support Management (ITSSM). The Company believes the assessment functionally substantiates many of the core solution capabilities of EasyVista 2013 against a criterion that spans five use cases from basic ITSSM through to delivering IT services and support in the digital workplace.
The assessment was completed against twenty ITSSM products from sixteen of the world's leading vendors, covering providers for low and mid-market organizations to large corporate and enterprise customers. The capabilities tested range from out-of-the-box functionality, core ITIL support processes, such as incident and problem management to ease of administration, integration and social collaboration. The Critical Capabilities for IT Service Support Management Tools, 2014 recognizes each tool's ability to support typical use scenarios from basic, with some ITSSM capabilities and the ability to integrate with entry level, third party IT Operations Management (ITOM) solutions through to advanced, with a full range of capabilities and broader ITOM functionality or integration with enterprise solutions. "We believe the Critical Capabilities assessment of EasyVista 2013 finds our solution ideal for IT organizations that need deep ITSSM capabilities. Our solution fits well in the mid-market and it is no surprise that commercially this has been our success point for many years now', observed Andrew White, EVP Marketing and General Manager, Americas & UK at EasyVista. 'We note the comments made by Gartner and we feel they are justified. For our customers there are many free and established ITOM products and solutions to integrate with. We believe our customers have the right to determine their own best-of-breed integrations and our proposition is to provide an easy-to-use design interface that allows IT managers to utilize the ITOM tools that fit their organization."
EasyVista received the second highest score of 3.37 out of 5 for the low to medium maturity use case and the third highest score of 3.30 out of 5 for the medium to high maturity use case. We believe EasyVista is ideal for small-to-midsize IT organizations that need deep ITSSM capabilities and are content to use other products for extended ITOM functionality.
The Critical Capabilities assessment complements the Gartner Magic Quadrant for IT Service Support Management. Both are important decision support guides for CIOs appraising vendors or selecting new solutions. For the vendors listed it is a valuable annual benchmarking exercise for their product and solution fit to market requirements.
