(ISIS) announced that it has received $2 million as milestone payment from Biogen Idec related to the advancement of the ongoing open-label extension study of ISIS-SMNRx in children with spinal muscular atrophy (SMA). In this study, children with SMA are receiving a 12 mg dose of ISIS-SMNRx every six months for the duration of the study. UnitedHealth Group Inc. Research Reports

(UnitedHealth) reported the expansion of its partnership with New York State 4-H Youth Development named Eat4-Health that helps in tackling obesity by promoting healthy eating and active lifestyles among youth and families. Further, the Company is granting $40,000 to Cornell University Cooperative Extension, which administers 4-H programs, to support youth healthy-living programs.
