Emergency Medical Card Company Named August Dream Big Champion

Southlake, TX Based Startup Wins Monthly National Pitch Competition

KANSAS CITY, Mo., Aug. 29, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Dream Big America (www.DreamBigAmerica.us), powered by Sprint (www.Sprint.com), announced this morning ICE Medical Card as the August Dream Big Champion. This Southlake, TX based startup competed against eight other highly-vetted new business ventures in a bracket style competition to secure the Dream Big Champion title.

During the first week of August's competition, ICE Medical Card (www.icemedicalcard.com) competed against Bright Buddy Leash (www.brightbuddyleash.com), and Blumoo (www.blumoo.com). ICE Medical Card received the week's highest vote count, securing a slot in the monthly Finals Round.

ICE Medical Card, along with the two other August finalists, Complete the Pair and Tiger Tiller, pitched their startup on August 22nd on the Dream Big America radio show to the national listening audience. After a close, five day voting period, Ice Medical Card received the highest number of votes and was announced this morning as the August Dream Big Champion.

ICE Medical Cards (www.icemedicalcard.com), founded by Tom Force, is an emergency data retrieval system, designed for first responders and doctors to quickly and accurately obtain critical information about an accident victim. Tom Force created ICE Medical Cards because of a personal tragedy, which spurred his passion to make a difference.

Complete The Pair (www.completethepair.com), one of the other finalists presented by Ron Ben-Zeev, is a unique sales and marketing technique that is rooted in a humanitarian cause. By sending a single, shrink-wrapped shoe in the mail to a prospective customer, sales people are able to facilitate meaningful connections when they bring the shoe's mate to "Complete The Pair," while simultaneously providing a free pair of shoes to a person in need.

Tiger Tiller (www.tillerz.com), the other finalist invented by Craig Jackson, is a revolutionary blade that bolts right onto a lawnmower, converting it into a rototilling machine. This unique adaptation of conventional lawnmowers allows homeowners to easily create gardens, remove sod, make beds for concrete curbs, and replace dead spots in their lawn.
