EAST STROUDSBURG, PA -- (Marketwired) -- 09/02/14 -- Royal Chemical has announced the hiring of Barry Martin as its newest director of operations at the East Stroudsburg, PA, plant. Martin brings more than 26 years of chemical industry experience to Royal Chemical.

In his new role, Martin will oversee the day-to-day operations of the plant including the management of production, inventory and plant staff.
Prior to joining Royal Chemical, Martin worked as the vice president of manufacturing at Chemetall US from 2005-2014. Before that he was vice president of North America Technology from 2001-2005, director of commercial development from 1997-2001 and marketing manager coil and coldforming from 1992-1997.
Martin has a master's of business degree from Santa Clara University, as well as a bachelor's of science in chemistry from Purdue University. He lives in Center Valley, PA, with his wife and has two children in college, as well as two dogs. Martin is an avid sports fan, and enjoys playing basketball, golf and running.
