NAPA, Calif., Sept. 3, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Delicato Family Vineyards is pleased to announce the launch of Juxtapoz, a discerning, new luxury red wine blend from California's decorated North Coast. Crafted from an artist's perspective by Napa Valley winemaker John Killebrew, Juxtapoz is a provocative exhibition of depth, flavor and intrigue. The wine's modern style is reflected in the label, which features the progressive artwork of emerging Spanish artist, Gabriel Moreno.
"A true original, Juxtapoz is a professional and personal milestone that I am especially proud to be a part of," said John Killebrew, Juxtapoz Winemaker. "As an art minor, I have always been fascinated by the individual elements that work together to achieve a finished piece, whether it's a painting or a bottle of wine. Juxtapoz is the ultimate showcase of what can happen when great individual components work together to create something entirely new and unexpected."
Killebrew juxtaposes contrasting red grape varieties and growing regions in the North Coast to add layers of dimension and complexity to the finished wine. The inaugural 2012 vintage features a blend of Syrah, Zinfandel, Petite Sirah, Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon, with more than 76 percent of the grapes hailing from Napa Valley.
The Juxtapoz label, an original piece of art commissioned by Barcelona native, Gabriel Moreno, channels Killebrew's approach to achieving depth and texture in the wine by using fine lines and vibrant color to juxtapose two views of one woman, interlaced to reveal the many layers of her personality.
Juxtapoz 2012 Red Wine Blend is now available for national distribution with a suggested retail price of $24.99.

Fifty billion connected devices and still no winning protocols standards. HTTP, WebSockets, MQTT, and CoAP seem to be leading in the IoT protocol race at the moment but many more protocols are getting introduced on a regular basis. Each protocol has its pros and cons depending on the nature of the communications. Does there really need to be only one protocol to rule them all? Of course not. In his session at @ThingsExpo, Chris Matthieu, co-founder and CTO of Octoblu, walk you through how Oct...
