Homeland Housewares Maker Of The NutriBullet Wins Preliminary Injunction Against Nutri Ninja Pro For False Advertising

Injunction provides Euro-Pro with 120 days to Remove Misleading Text from Packaging

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 3, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Homeland Housewares, LLC., maker and distributor of the NutriBullet, won a preliminary injunction for false advertising issued against the Nutri Ninja Pro® blender, manufactured by Euro-Pro Operating, LLC. The misleading text on the packaging for the Nutri Ninja Pro® blender claimed it was better than the NutriBullet® based on false statements about certain product features. U.S. Federal Judge Dean Pregerson of California, ruled that the Nutri Ninja Pro® blender packaging is likely to deceive consumers based on some of the text on the packaging. The injunction provides the manufacturer of the Nutri Ninja Pro® with 120 days to remove the false statements from the Nutri Ninja Pro® packaging.
