KeyedIn® Projects Collaborates with Consulting Industry to Release New Benefits Management & Governance Capabilities

KeyedIn® Projects 5.7 Provides Organizations with a System to Manage the Successful Delivery of Large Programs

MINNEAPOLIS, Sept. 3, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- KeyedIn® Solutions, a Cloud enablement company that develops specialized business applications, today introduced a major upgrade to its specialist project management software, KeyedIn® Projects.

KeyedIn Projects software is highly acclaimed among project management offices (PMOs) internationally, thanks to its simple and highly configurable user interface. The new release, version 5.7, represents an extensive collaboration with leading consulting partners and industry practitioners.

The introduction of benefits management capabilities was proposed by KeyedIn consulting partners who specialize in driving increased productivity within their customer base. It ensures that the process of driving business benefits is fully aligned with the project delivery process and that outcomes stated in the original business case are achieved.

KeyedIn Projects 5.7 also introduces a sophisticated project lifecycle capability to improve governance within a large-scale project delivery environment by allowing organizations to create a checklist of tasks that need to be completed before a project can progress to the next gate or step in the process.

KeyedIn Solutions believes that modern enterprise business solutions should be easy to use, and KeyedIn Projects 5.7 continues this theme with the introduction of editable grids along with a wide range of other enhancements designed to improve the end user experience.

Eugene Blaine, Chief Technology Officer of KeyedIn, said, "This upgrade to our renowned project management system reflects the valuable feedback that we have received from our customer base, from our consulting partners and from leading industry practitioners.

While most project portfolio management solutions focus on giving management a clear picture of what is happening in their organization, KeyedIn Projects 5.7 recognizes that this can only be achieved reliably by embracing the user communities that are required to provide this information."

A video detailing each area of improvement to the software is available online at: http://keyedin.wistia.com/medias/3x0y6spmop.

The release follows a recent report from KeyedIn which found that 50 percent of PMOs are destined to fail due to the range of obstacles project managers face in today's challenging business environment. An eBook, Why PPMs and PMOs Fail, analyzes the findings and offers practical advice on successful project management.
