NEW YORK, Sept. 3, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- With over 25 years in the fashion and accessories industry, Cherie Christmas, designer, inspirational speaker and TV personality has joined OneStopPlus.com as Designer and Fashion Consultant, bringing her "look great and feel great" approach to the brand. With her expertise in both fashion and accessory design and as a former television personality, Christmas will be bringing the site to life with her energetic personality.
"I have always found it challenging to find fashionable clothing that fit my body from my teens through my regular TV spots on QVC," says Christmas. "After following OneStopPlus.com's growth and having been a customer for years, I'm so excited to work with a company whose goal is to make women feel great at every size."
Tasks in her new role will include but not be limited to building fashion look books, creating interactive video series, producing editorials in magazines, contributing to the FullBeauty blog and being an overall spokesperson for the brand. Cherie will also be launching an exclusive product line on the site in Spring '15. To kick off this new partnership, Christmas will be in attendance at various New York Spring 2015 Fashion Week shows, introducing herself as the company's spokesperson and further establishing OneStopPlus.com's position as the leading plus size fashion destination.
"OneStopPlus.com is so proud to be partnering with such a well-known and successful woman of style," says Stephanie Sobel, President of OSP Group. "As the premier destination for the plus size woman, OneStopPlus.com is continuing to focus on curating fashion-forward offerings and body complimenting apparel for the full figured woman. As such, we are delighted that Cherie will be contributing her design and inspiration to the brand, enhancing the overall fashion, experience and engagement at OneStopPlus.com."
Christmas was the founder of Maxx NewYork and is the CEO of XxCherie Christmas. She has been at the helm of a multimillion dollar accessory brand while traveling the world as a TV spokesperson for QVC USA, QVC GERMANY, and The Shopping Channel in Canada. As the first designer to successfully sell and build a $40M annual handbag business on television, her extraordinary sales skills marked her as one of television's top handbag producers.
"In addition to our blog and social media platforms, we will soon launch fashion trend look books, video series and a brand new magazine all including vision and insight from Cherie," says Frank Van Der Ree, General Brand Manager of OneStopPlus.com. "The OneStopPlus.com team is very excited to welcome Cherie to help develop new plus size fashion and fit advice that will help our customers look and feel great at every occasion and in every season."
