Act-On Software Receives "Best-in-Class" Ranking Across All Categories in Latest Gleansight Benchmark Report

Act-On Customers Most Satisfied With Their Marketing Automation Investment

BEAVERTON, OR -- (Marketwired) -- 09/03/14 -- Act-On Software, the leading marketing automation provider for small and mid-sized businesses, today announced its high marks in the latest Gleanster benchmark report. The report drew on survey data crowd-sourced from actual current (and previous) end-users. Customers voiced their opinions and shared their experiences, and rated Act-On "best-in-class" across all categories: features and functionality, ease of use, ease of deployment and overall value.

Today, marketers bear the onus of driving top-line revenue and proving marketing's contribution to the C-suite. As a result, marketers can no longer rely on conventional wisdom to make business decisions. Companies in turn have adopted marketing automation to be able to turn data into actionable signals.

According to the survey data collected in the Gleansight benchmark report, 97 percent of marketers said increase in revenue was the most compelling reason they implemented marketing automation, and 69 percent said measuring marketing ROI, while 67 percent said more insight into marketing and sales activities.

Act-On customers see great value in their marketing automation investment; having an intuitive and easy-to-use platform that doesn't require IT resources, users are up and running their first campaign in a matter of days. Act-On has also built native integrations with all the leading CRM systems, including Salesforce.com, Sugar, NetSuite, and Microsoft Dynamics, which helps organizations to effectively align sales and marketing departments, while also providing greater transparency into the end-to-end lead to revenue process.

"When making the transition from basic email systems to full-scale marketing automation it's important for marketers to find solutions that are intuitive and accessible," said Ian Michiels, Principal Analyst at Gleanster Research. "Ease of use is a subjective measure, so it's important to place some weight on user feedback and perception when investing in a new solution. Act-On's position in the Gleanster FLASH rankings highlights the fact that Act-On users are quite content with the blend of features/functions and overall ease of adoption."

Act-On Software has over 2,500 customers across a variety of industries, including healthcare, manufacturing, business services and education. Want to know what customers like you have to say about Act-On? Read our latest customer testimonials and reviews here.
