Pulse Inks Deal With Unique Foods To Distribute Natural Cabana® Coconut Water Throughout Canada

MAJOR NATIONAL DISTRIBUTOR OF HIGH END BEVERAGES SELECTS PULSE'S COCONUT WATER ALONGSIDE ACTIVATE VITAMIN DRINK, STEWART'S OLD FASHIONED SODAS, HYPE ENERGY DRINKS AND AQUAHYDRATE

DENVER, Sept. 4, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The Pulse Beverage Corporation (OTCQB: PLSB), makers of Natural Cabana® Lemonades, Limeades, and Coconut Waters, and PULSE® Heart and Body Health functional beverages, announced today that it has secured a distribution agreement with Unique Foods (Canada) Inc. ("Unique Foods") to distribute Natural Cabana® Coconut Water throughout Canada. Unique Foods is headquartered in Montreal, Canada with an established presence in Atlantic and Western Canada, Ontario and Quebec through coordinators and multiple independent regional distributors. Unique Foods is a leading importer of premium beverage brands such as: Stewart's Old Fashioned Sodas, Cascade Ice™, Hype Energy™, AQUAhydrate™ and ACTIVATE® Vitamin Drinks. Unique Foods will be offering Pulse's Natural Cabana® Coconut Water in both Natural and Pineapple flavors in 520ml rolled steel cans. Unique Foods and Pulse will be showcasing this product at the CHFA Natural Foods Show in Toronto on September 13 and 14.

Since its mainstream emergence in 2006, interest in coconut water has gained momentum with sales doubling each year. There has been a lot of data regarding its health attributes including improved weight loss and improved physical appearance, spurring consumer interest, and prompting some of the industry's leading beverage companies to invest in this category. Coconut water is low calorie, naturally isotonic, has a neutral pH, is high in potassium, low in sodium and an ideal sports drink.
