Customizable Watermarks to Protect Photo Rights

The fully customizable watermarking tool inserts personalized watermarks into exported and shared images, effectively discouraging unauthorized use. Watermarks can be designed by combining any text and images, which may be aligned, rotated and tiled as needed. Saving any number of different watermark designs will have them ready for later use. With StudioLine Photo Classic 4 it's easy to quickly protect an entire image series with a professional-looking watermark during export. This completely obliterates any need for storage-wasting, manually created duplicates of original photos.

Rotate and Crop Tool with Golden Ratio

Another image editing novelty is the Rotate and Crop tool. Assisting the user with the task of image composition are a choice of grids, which are based on simple squares, the rule of thirds or the golden ratio. Photos can be straightened along any reference line in the image, optionally maintain the original image proportions. Throughout StudioLine Photo Classic, all editing steps are non-destructive, reversible at any time - even selectively. This way, the original image always remains intact.

Efficient Editing using Predefined Tool Sets

New in StudioLine Photo Classic 4 is the ability to boost one's productivity by pre-defining sets of image tools and their individual settings. These handy combinations of frequently used editing steps will greatly streamline the workflow while working on a large series of images. In addition, the software's broad array of professional editing and optimization filters, such as "White Balance", "Unsharp Mask" and "RGB Mixer", have been made even more accessible in the new version 4 user interface.

Clever Load-Assistant

The new Load-Assistant detects and offers to import images and videos, on cameras and other disk drives, which previously had not been loaded into StudioLine. Even files on Canon cameras are now directly available to StudioLine. Another time-saver is the option to already add descriptions and keywords while loading a group of photos and videos. StudioLine Photo Classic recognizes all common image and video file formats, plus the RAW formats of all major camera manufacturers.

New Feature: Auto-Complete and Quick Search

By eliminating input errors and prompting previously used terms, the auto-complete feature makes adding image descriptions and consistent usage of terminology a minimal effort.

The ergonomical quick search is always standing by on the menu bar to locate files by any criteria. Results can be further refined by limiting a search to specific content fields. The keyword list now has a search field as well, which simplifies working with an elaborate keyword and category list.

Enhanced Print Assistant - Easy Print

Enhancements to the print features of version 4 deliver flexibility, including settings that are accurate to the millimeter and may be saved for reuse with later projects. An extensive list of layout choices opens up a vast range of presentation options.

StudioLine MediaCenter

StudioLine Photo Classic enables the instant upload of images and other files to the StudioLine MediaCenter. A selection of layouts offer a variety of web presentations. Images with embedded location data may be viewed on a map. Protecting albums and folders with passwords is an effective way to restrict file access to the intended users. Every customer of StudioLine Photo Classic receives 4 GB of free online storage.

Sophisticated Geotagging

StudioLine Photo Classic supports both automatic as well as manual geotagging. GPS information from data loggers is automatically matched to photos taken at various times and the associated GPS metadata for each photo is then stored in the image archive. Dragging older photos, or those from third parties, onto a built-in Google® Maps screen is an incredibly intuitive way to manually supplement any missing location data.
