DALLAS, TX -- (Marketwired) -- 09/04/14 -- Vorex, a leader in cloud-based comprehensive professional services automation (PSA) software for the small- to mid-size business (SMB) market, is pleased to announce the expansion of its management team with Stuart Selbst as its new Chief Operations Officer.
A veteran in the IT industry with more than 25 years of experience, and expertise in the professional services automation and managed service provider arenas, Selbst will manage marketing and sales operations, oversee product development, enhance client relationships and develop a channel partner program.
Selbst was named among MSP Mentor's Top 250 Most Influential Industry Executives in 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012. He was also named to SMB Nation's SMB (small-to-midsize business) Top 150 in 2011, 2012 and 2013. From 2012 to 2014, he served on the Channel Partners Advisory Board.
As one of his first senior responsibilities in new product development, Selbst will oversee the development of Vorex's new managed service provider (MSP) module and ensure it meets the needs of service provider businesses.
MSP's provide delivery of IT support services to businesses, residences or other service providers. The new MSP module will be designed to also work with other underserved service industries that depend on a help desk and dispatching to run their operation.

Vorex is scheduled to launch its new MSP module this fall. Selbst and the company will be previewing the module, as well as exhibiting its other PSA solutions, at the Cloud Partners 2014 Conference in New Orleans on September 7-10 (Booth No. 208).

Selbst is a well-respected industry leader, speaker and business coach. Before joining Vorex, Selbst was Managing Partner and Senior Consultant of Stuart Selbst Consulting LLC., a firm that offers executive-level business coaching and consulting to the technology industry. Selbst has coached and consulted hundreds of MSPs and technology firms in the U.S., U.K. and Australia, each of them achieving different levels of success based on their personal and business goals.
He studied business and economics at UCLA and holds technical, engineering and security certifications from Microsoft, Dell, Cisco and SonicWALL. Selbst has worked in large corporate enterprise IT departments as well as starting, building and then selling his own managed services business. During his tenure as CEO of his MSP firm, the company specialized in network design, security and compliance of mid-market businesses. In 2013, Selbst completed the initial level of Six Sigma certification, a proven strategy for process improvement.
