GOLDEN, Colo., Sept. 4, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Golden Minerals Company (NYSE MKT: AUMN) (TSX: AUM) ("Golden Minerals" or the "Company") today announced that it intends to offer and sell units consisting of shares of its common stock and warrants to purchase its common stock in an underwritten public offering. The offering is subject to market and other conditions, and there can be no assurance as to whether or when the offering may be completed, or as to the actual size or terms of the offering.
Roth Capital Partners is acting as the sole book-running manager for the offering.
Golden Minerals intends to use the net proceeds from the offering for exploration expenditures primarily related to properties in Mexico, and for other working capital requirements and general corporate purposes.
