Online Project Management Software 2015 Awards Won By Nutcache

PALO ALTO, Calif., July 20, 2015 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- The popular collaborative project management software that incorporates time-tracking and invoicing/expenses tools was recently awarded three prestigious awards and a quality trust seal for exhibiting best-in-class features and vendor reliability.

Nutcache received the Expert's Choice Award, Best Free Trial, Rising Star Award, and Verified Quality Seal from the specialist B2B review site, FinancesOnline, a software review platform that helps B2B buyers select the right solutions for their needs.

The Best Free Trial Award won by Nutcache highlights the app as having one of the best freemiums in the SaaS industry today. Users can enjoy a wide range of functions at no cost. "They can use Nutcache free trial to try and see how the app goes and upgrade to paid subscription, or use it forever for free if they want". Customers who want to test the service for themselves can easily try Nutcache free trial here.

Originally, the software was a full freemium invoicing and time-tracking app that offered an unlimited number of users and companies. The unprecedented offer quickly earned the vendor a significant following, notably among small businesses.

However, early this year, Nutcache transformed into a full project management software for complex projects and released a Pro plan ($14/month), though the freemium plan is still available to all customers.

Despite toning down its freemium options, Nutcache still offers useful features in its free version. Users, especially small businesses, will find its unlimited projects, time-tracking invoices, expenses, and attachments a great way to kickstart their online invoicing and project management. The free app is also offering 1 GB storage.

"If you have a small operation the freemium version is probably all you need. It's a free lunch that you can take all the way as long as your business is around," Hillsberg said, noting, too, that Nutcache's free app is very robust compared to most freemiums.

The Expert's Choice Award was granted to Nutcache for offering an efficient and solid quote-to-payment pipeline. "It's billed as an all-in-one project management solution and we can see why," review team leader Alex Hillsberg noted. "From creating quotes to managing the project, then to invoicing and receiving payments, this app covers all the bases."

The review panel was also impressed with the app's intuitive navigation panel and graphical layout, which, Hillsberg said, make it easy to implement Agile, Scrum, or Kaban. Data grids and filters also allow you to manipulate data to fit your current needs. "No two projects are alike, but Nutcache gives you full control no matter you want to view or use data."

Moreover, FinancesOnline review panel believes the app's collaborative tools help nurture transparency. Clients and other stakeholders can be granted access to project status and data, letting them see the progress as it develops. "They can react immediately or understand your point of view with greater clarity when they see the real day-to-day picture," said Hillsberg.

What is more, Nutcache merited the Rising Star Award, which highlights that it is a project management software worth exploring. Launched in 2013, the app has been in the market for just a little over two years, but it has already earned a solid customer base more akin to older and established project management solutions than to a relatively new player. Its popularity indicates that customers find an immediate value in the app, considering that the project management category is crowded and highly competitive.

The app was also awarded the FinancesOnline Verified Quality Seal, a special trust mark granted to business software that exhibit quality features and vendor reliability. After scrutinizing Nutcache functions and tools under various circumstances, the app was found to efficiently address both basic and complex project scenarios, including: ensuring teams and stakeholders stay in the loop; effective time-tracking and fast billing; and flexible project methodologies and workflows.

DevOps is under attack because developers don’t want to mess with infrastructure. They will happily own their code into production, but want to use platforms instead of raw automation. That’s changing the landscape that we understand as DevOps with both architecture concepts (CloudNative) and process redefinition (SRE).
