American Joint Replacement Registry and Q-Centrix Join Forces to Help Hospitals Improve Data Efficiency

Innovative Collaboration Removes Barriers to Participation in Registry for Hospitals Across the Country

CHICAGO, IL--(Marketwired - August 31, 2016) - Q-Centrix, a leading quality data solution provider in healthcare, today announced a collaboration with the American Joint Replacement Registry (AJRR), the national hip and knee arthroplasty registry.

The two organizations have joined forces to improve data submission efficiency for hospitals and orthopaedic practice groups throughout the country. The AJRR joins a growing number of organizations who recognize Q-Centrix solutions can help reduce the barriers associated with healthcare quality improvement, including the American College of Cardiology, American Heart Association, M2S and more.

As the largest U.S. orthopaedic registry-with patient information from all 50 states and the District of Columbia-the AJRR provides benchmarks at the individual, system and national levels to aid institutions comparing their outcomes over time. These benchmarks can aid in meeting requirements for federal quality initiatives. The Comprehensive Care for Joint Replacement (CJR) model is a quality initiative that offers bonus points for the submission of patient-reported outcomes (PROs); the new partnership between Q-Centrix and the AJRR allows for the easy transmission of PRO data to the registry platform in a format that the government will accept.
