First Advantage Teams with SambaSafety to Offer Continuous Driver Monitoring

Premier pre-employment screening company to partner with leader in driver risk management solutions

ATLANTA and DENVER, Sept. 22, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- SambaSafety®, the nation's leading provider of driver risk management solutions, and premier pre-employment screening company, First Advantage, announced today that they have partnered to offer SambaSafety's continuous driver monitoring services for First Advantage's transportation customers.

better drivers. lower risk. safer communities.

"The SambaSafety solution has all the critical driver information our customers need to quickly identify high-risk drivers, reduce accidents, and lower the likelihood of out-of-service orders," said Mark Carlson VP of sales – tax and fleet solutions for First Advantage. "It's easy to use, cost-effective and represents the industry exemplar."

Leveraging SambaSafety's software-as-a-service (SaaS) solution, First Advantage will offer unparalleled driver monitoring to help its customers manage and track the performance of their drivers nationwide. This solution continuously monitors individual drivers, automatically identifying new violations and alerting management to high-risk driving behavior. With this solution, companies will have a streamlined process to establish an initial driver risk profile and enroll drivers into the continuous monitoring program. For clients operating DOT regulated fleets, the initial driver risk profile contributes to the Driver Qualification File to maintain compliance.

The Samba DriverScore® utilizes a common coding system for violations that go beyond conventional Motor Vehicle Records (MVRs) to provide an innovative driver safety assessment. First Advantage customers now have the ability to monitor driver behavior across the United States and apply and enforce their driver policies consistently through this comprehensive cloud-based system.

With this partnership, companies will have a single solution that connects pre-hire driver record checks to a post-hire driver risk management solution. For DOT regulated fleets, pre-hire and post-hire driver records can now be synchronized into driver qualification files to ensure compliant and safe drivers.

"First Advantage continually strives to offer more value to its customers. This partnership enables their customers to reduce accidents, control insurance costs, enforce driver policies, and lower the risk associated with risky driving behavior," said Chris McKay, president of SambaSafety. "We are very proud to partner with not only a leader, but a pioneer in the pre-employment industry."
