Earlier in his career, he practiced as a corporate finance and securities attorney in Washington, D.C., at the law firms of Hogan & Hartson LLP (now Hogan Lovells LLP) and Sullivan & Cromwell LLP. Sean also serves as an arbitrator on the Attorney/Client Arbitration Board of the D.C. Bar Association and is a member of the Bar of the United States Supreme Court.
