Viamericas to Demo Vianex Digital Platform at Money20/20

BETHESDA, Md., Oct. 19, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Viamericas Corporation, an international licensed remittance company, will demonstrate its new digital platform, Vianex, at the Money20/20 conference in Las Vegas next week.

Vianex is the digital channel for Viamericas

The Vianex platform is the new digital brand for Viamericas, which includes a consumer-facing website and mobile site, govianex.com, and the Vianex mobile app available in the iTunes and GooglePlay stores. The platform also includes new open APIs for partners to take advantage of Vianex's Money Transfer as a Service (MTaaS) capabilities.

"We have partners who understand the value of the network of pay-in and pay-out agents we have built around the world. We wanted to make it easier for those partners to connect to our services," says Joe Argilagos, Executive Chairman and Co-Founder of Viamericas. "We are excited to demonstrate these new capabilities at Money20/20."

Digital money transfers involve a complex network of issuers, acquirers, pay in and pay out agents, risk management, fraud and compliance, cash management and state-by-state licensing and regulatory compliance. Creating that network and those capabilities is a slow, expensive investment that has taken Viamericas over a decade to build. The Vianex platform gives interested partners the ability to offer alternative financial services in collaboration with Viamericas today, rather than years down the road.

Viamericas will be demonstrating how partners can utilize the Vianex APIs to make financial services available to their customers at Money20/20, booth 332.

Money20/20 Demo

  • The Pin4® Cardless Cash Network provides secure, real-time cash withdrawals from ATMs. People receiving money from Vianex customers can now easily withdraw the cash from any Pin4®-enabled ATM, regardless of whether they have a debit card, credit card or even a bank account.
  • The AudioNow - Vianex integration gives audiences of audio and video apps a secure and low cost way to send money home through their IOS or Android device without leaving the AudioNow app.
  • The Vianex modal capability allows partners to take advantage of the Vianex Money Transfer as a Service (MTaaS) with no integration and very little development. The modal acts as a plug-in for existing partner websites, and pops up when a customer clicks to send money. The entire send money transaction is completed without leaving the partner website.

"We are excited to introduce our new platform to attendees at Money20/20," says Paul Dwyer, CEO of Viamericas. "Money transfer and the many other financial services we offer take a lot of time, investment and expertise to put in place. Our partners now get to benefit from our years of investment and can make these alternative financial services available to their customers simply by using our APIs."

We all know that end users experience the Internet primarily with mobile devices. From an app development perspective, we know that successfully responding to the needs of mobile customers depends on rapid DevOps – failing fast, in short, until the right solution evolves in your customers' relationship to your business. Companies are harnessing data in ways we once associated with science fiction. Analysts have access to a plethora of visualization and reporting tools, but considering the vast amount of data businesses collect and limitations of CPUs, end users are forced to design their structures and systems with limitations. Until now. As the cloud toolkit to analyze data has evolved, GPUs have stepped in to massively parallel SQL, visualization and machine learning.
