BEIJING, Oct. 19, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Picoo Design executives announced today the launch of Lynx, a new security tool aimed at keeping pictures safe from snoopy intruders.
With more and more anti-virus apps launching on Google Play, mobile security is no longer Android users' main concern.
"I'm not worried about mobile viruses," says Ashley, a college student from US, "I'm more terrified by someone stealing my private photos on the phone."
Recent surveys show that Ashley's concerns are not unfounded. 8 out of 10 Android users reported similar worries about private files being accessed by someone unauthorized.
Always being one step ahead, PICOO Design has been working on improving privacy protection for Android phones since 2012, and has launched several high rated apps over the years that have helped countless smartphone users to manage and secure private data.
"However," Alexander Barton, VP at PICOO Design, says, "you can search the Google Play Store and find hundreds of similar apps but you never know whether they are helpful, or even safe. If someone has access to your phone, they are going to find those private photos eventually as long as they are still on the phone." And this is where PICOO Design decided to create an app with a totally different security concept.
"Lynx is different from any other privacy protection apps," Barton says, "your private data is no longer stored solely on your phone. Instead, all data is safely stored in a private cloud drive. That means losing your phone does not equal to privacy being at risk when you can always find your data on private cloud, also, by storing them on cloud drive, you can free up your phone space for more apps and games."
On top of that, Lynx also makes photo and video sharing much safer by generating an access code which can be used to safely share photos or videos with friends.
Last but not the least, Lynx does everything it could to guarantee the safety of user privacy, that includes Break-in Alert, Fake Lynx and multiple other premium features to make sure only the owner of the account have access to private data stored on cloud. And all these features are provided for completely free!
Lynx is now available for free download on the Google Play Store with a complimentary 5GB of cloud storage space. Or you can scan the QR code to download.

Governments around the world are adopting Safe Harbor privacy provisions to protect customer data from leaving sovereign territories. Increasingly, global companies are required to create new instances of their server clusters in multiple countries to keep abreast of these new Safe Harbor laws. Is it worth it? In his session at 19th Cloud Expo, Adam Rogers, Managing Director of Anexia, Inc., will discuss how to keep your data legal and still stay in business.
