Scale Computing Shows Disaster Recovery as a Service, VDI, and Analytics at Midmarket CIO Forum Fall 2016

INDIANAPOLIS, IN--(Marketwired - October 19, 2016) - Scale Computing, the market leader in hyperconverged storage, server and virtualization solutions for midsized companies, announced today it will exhibit its ScaleCare Remote Recovery Service, a Disaster Recovery as a Service (DRaaS) platform for offsite data protection, as well as new systems for Virtual Desktop Interface (VDI) deployment and business analytics, at the upcoming Midmarket CIO Forum. Scale Computing will be in booth 500 during the event, hosted by Boardroom Events, held October 23-25 at La Cantera Resort in San Antonio, Texas.

The Midmarket CIO Forum is an invitation-only conference for qualified participants, making it a targeted and customized experience that is relevant and productive for representatives of midsized companies. CIOs attending the event participate in hosted boardroom meetings to gain insight and hear research that is tailored to their unique needs.

"Disaster recovery, and its importance to businesses, will be a focus at the forum due to recent extreme weather, but few midrange companies are in a position to host a remote site for DR purposes," said Jeff Ready, CEO and co-founder of Scale Computing. "The reception for our ScaleCare Remote Recovery Service has been wonderful, and we're also looking forward to introducing our solution partnerships with Workspot for VDI and Information Builders for business analytics, both of which are were developed specifically for midsized IT environments."

ScaleCare Remote Recovery Service, a cost-effective alternative to self-hosted or third-party vendor hosted backup options, delivers critical offsite data protection to ensure business continuity. Users can set their preferred replication schedule to maximize protection, retention goals, and bandwidth efficiency, and recover within minutes.

Workspot and Scale Computing's VDI 2.0 solution combines VDI with hyperconverged infrastructure to make deployment and management 10X simpler, requiring no load balancing, no new operational processes to manage, no golden masters, or application layering. The Scale Analytics Appliance, based on Information Builders' WebFOCUS Business User Edition software, gives users sophisticated reporting and analytics without significant IT input, for straightforward operation that eliminates the large upfront investments in software and hardware typical of enterprise-scale business intelligence projects.

Boardroom Events (BE) Midmarket CIO Forum is an informative and social venue for IT executives and solution providers who are focused on technologies for the midmarket. BE produces best-in-class business development and networking experiences for leaders in the technology and marketing industry. Its team pioneered the concept of hosted boardroom meetings that bring together thought leaders from across the marketplace: midmarket technology and marketing executives, solution providers, and industry analysts.
