OT und Etisalat führen den ersten mobilen Geldbörsendienst in den Vereinigten Arabischen Emiraten ein

Oberthur Technologies (OT), ein führender, weltweit tätiger Anbieter eingebetteter Sicherheitssoftware-Produkte und -Dienstleistungen, meldete heute, dass Etisalat die digitalen Plattformen von OT übernimmt, um den ersten mobilen Geldbörsendienst in den Vereinigten Arabischen Emiraten einzuführen.

Mit der explosionsartige Zunahme von Smartphones in den Vereinigten Arabischen Emiraten (VAE) betritt der Telekommunikationssektor ein neues Zeitalter, in dem Smartphones tägliche Begleiter sind und eine Schnittstelle darstellen, um den Menschen Sicherheit und Komfort zu bieten, wenn sie sich vernetzen, authentifizieren oder bezahlen.

Mithilfe der bewährten digitalen Geldbörsen-Plattform von OT bietet Etisalat den ersten mobilen Geldbörsendienst in den Vereinigten Arabischen Emiraten und transformiert das Erlebnis seiner Nutzer, indem sie in die Lage versetzt werden, mithilfe ihres Smartphones Stromrechnungen zu bezahlen, Guthaben aufzuladen, Parkgebühren in verschiedenen Städten zu bezahlen oder unterschiedliche Güter und Dienstleistungen einzukaufen.

Über eine App aufrufbar, ermöglicht die von Etisalat entwickelte mobile Geldbörse zudem Geldüberweisungen. Der Nutzer kann die Transaktionen mithilfe von automatischen Berichten, Benachrichtigungen und Kontoverwaltungsfunktionen kontrollieren.
