Cata Company Introduces CataCash One and CataCoin at AFP Annual Conference

Cata Company, a leading provider of innovative solutions for cash management, will introduce its CataCash One and CataCoin products at the AFP Annual Conference. The company’s new products combine intuitive hardware and software designed to deliver cost-effective, closed loop cash management solutions.

The CataCash One smart safe features a patented design with a smaller footprint and industry leading security, capacity and battery life. CataCash One reduces risk of shrinkage, is designed to easily integrate with internal and external systems, and allows for remote management and monitoring of each safe through a proprietary online control panel. By providing employees with unique PINS, CataCash One can track cash collections, create transaction reports and end-of-day reports, among many others.

CataCoin was designed to help the 80 percent of United States households that actively save coins. Sixty-six percent of these households refuse to pay the high percentages charged by coin machine providers and other coin exchange services. CataCoin features a slim design, fully customizable exterior, and an intuitive user interface to help customers more simply and easily exchange their coins free from excessive exchange fees. CataCoin includes a real-time monitoring system with remote access, patented filtration technology and gamification including a joystick for younger users.

According to the Federal Reserve, there is $1.4 trillion of cash circulating in the United States this year and that number is up from $1.26 trillion in 2013. Many of the systems for managing and handling this cash are dated, using legacy technology that is costly and complex. Cata Company uses advances in software and hardware, along with our patented processes and experience creating innovative solutions, to give organizations and their customers a better option.

“We use the knowledge we have accumulated to create products that are attractive and easy to use that also provide organizations with solutions that maximize their return on investment,” said Victor Levy, chief executive officer of Cata Company. “The United States is an opportunity rich market with a significant amount of cash in circulation and the need for next generation solutions that make it easier to manage that cash. Our experience in Brazil shows that the right technology can address such a need.”

Though new to the United States market, Cata Company products have been used extensively in Brazil. Cata Company machines recirculated more than 14 percent of the coins produced in Brazil in 2015. Over 100 retail chains in Brazil have Cata Company products in their stores. The company has 11 registered industrial and utility patents and has been featured in more than 600 articles in the media. Cata Company is aggressively expanding its presence in the United States to accommodate the opportunity for and interest in their products.
