Sparta Systems Launches the Next-Generation Cloud Solution Stratas QMS

New modern, intuitive solution for small to mid-market pharma and biotech companies leverages best-practice quality processes used by leading life sciences companies to accelerate deployment

HAMILTON, N.J., Oct. 19, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Sparta Systems, Inc., the global leader in enterprise quality management software (EQMS) solutions, today announced the launch of its new cloud-based solution, Stratas Quality Management.  The new solution, deployed on Amazon Web Services, leverages over two decades of quality management domain expertise gained from deploying the industry-leading on-premise solution, TrackWise®, for the world's leading life sciences companies.

Stratas Quality Management, built on the Stratas platform along with the previously released Stratas Supplier Collaboration, is rapidly deployable, allowing organizations to quickly start or expand on a quality management program.  It offers out-of-the box quality processes that can be tailored for the unique needs of any company, and features advanced scalability, redundancy and security that meets the demands of the most highly-regulated industries, including pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, and food and beverage.

Stratas Quality Management, already implemented at several life sciences organizations, adds to Sparta's existing cloud solution portfolio with over 25,000 subscribed users. Furthermore, this newest product launch extends the technological framework of Sparta's Quality Business Network (QBN). The QBN is a revolutionary approach to connecting stakeholders across the global quality ecosystem for greater visibility, collaboration, efficiency, compliance and risk reduction.

"More life sciences companies are beginning to explore how they can use both hybrid and standalone QMS systems from Sparta to enhance quality throughout their organizations and products' life cycles," commented Sparta Systems' CEO Eileen Martinson

"For us, it's all about offering customers choices that align to their strategies. For example, our large enterprise companies are moving to a hybrid model where they connect TrackWise to our newer cloud-based solutions. In the mid-market, companies are still using paper and spreadsheets to manage quality. These companies want a solution that is 100% cloud, with best practices from Sparta. Hence, the addition of the Stratas QMS to our solution portfolio," said Martinson.

Stratas QMS is generally available as of October 19, 2016.  More information about the new cloud solution is available at www.SpartaSystems.com/StratasQMS.

Additionally, Sparta will host a live webinar titled, "Stratas Quality Management – Expanding the Quality Business Network." The event will take place on Wednesday, November 2, at 11 a.m. ET and will feature a product walkthrough and Q&A session. To register visit: http://bit.ly/StratasQMreg.
