Enspiri Solutions is the first-to-market SaaS software program designed for workers’ compensation nurse triage. Enspiri Solutions combines medical guidelines, a report distribution platform and a database of approximately 12,000 medical facilities that treat workers' comp cases. The system has been beta tested, and is formally being launched in conjunction with the 25th Annual National Workers’ Compensation and Disability conference Nov. 30 in New Orleans.
“With approximately 5.6 million work injuries each year in the United States, and a growing demand for nurse triage services, more companies are beginning to offer these services,” said Paul Binsfeld, president of Enspiri Solutions. “Nurse triage is emerging as one of the most important cost-containment services in the workers' compensation industry.”
Binsfeld is one of the pioneers of the pre-claim nurse triage industry, and was recently appointed to the Entrepreneurial Insurance Alliance Advisory Board of Directors. He has over 25 years of experience in workers’ compensation, having founded Enspiri’s sister company, Company Nurse, LLC - a firm that specializes in medical triage and injury management for workers’ compensation - in 1997. Binsfeld partnered with Steve Schmutz, founder and CEO of Claimwire LLC, and MountainView Software Corporation to develop the new platform.
“Paul and I have worked together for nearly 20 years on various software systems designed for nurse triage services,” states Schmutz, vice president of business development for Enspiri Solutions. “Joining forces, we see the opportunity to fill a growing niche in workers’ compensation triage management.”
The turnkey software is tailored to insurance carriers, self-insured groups, third-party administrators, personal healthcare nurse triage call centers entering the workers’ compensation market and managed care customers.
Enspiri also provides nurses and related services to companies entering the nurse triage industry. This allows insurance companies to offer telephonic work injury triage services around the clock, without having to staff during off-peak hours or weekends.
Notably, Entrepreneurial Insurance Symposium included Enspiri in its Shark Tank competition in September that featured forward-thinking innovation in the insurance industry. For more information about Enspiri Solutions, LLC, please visit www.enspiri.com or call 480-809-3900.

Without a clear strategy for cost control and an architecture designed with cloud services in mind, costs and operational performance can quickly get out of control. To avoid multiple architectural redesigns requires extensive thought and planning. Boundary (now part of BMC) launched a new public-facing multi-tenant high resolution monitoring service on Amazon AWS two years ago, facing challenges and learning best practices in the early days of the new service. In his session at 19th Cloud Exp...
