CENTENNIAL, Colo., Nov. 30, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- In accordance with their mission of reducing risk for workers around the world, the founding members of Predictive Safety Inc. have entered into an asset purchase agreement to allow future investment in and growth of their workplace safety technologies. Founding partners Mark Savit of Predictive Compliance LLC, Dave Lauriski of Safety Solutions, International LLC, and Tim Hobbs of Data Connect Corporation, all located in Denver, Colorado and Henry Bowles of Bowles-Langley Technology, in Alameda, California have formally agreed to merge their company into Predictive Safety, to be overseen by CEO Mark Premo, recently of Chevron Mining as President and CEO.
Predictive Safety will pursue full integration of the founding entities to create a comprehensive suite of workplace safety products for clients around the globe. This suite will include: a proprietary fatigue management system, currently in use at Anglo-American Kolomela Iron Ore Mine in South Africa; predictive MSHA compliance software; workplace alertness testing, now known as AlertMeter; and work site safety audits and leadership training. Predictive Safety will use its patented and proprietary technologies to make work sites safer around the globe.
"To create a culture of prevention, 'the path to zero harm' you have to use all the data that are available to you – historic, real-time, and predictive," said founder Dave Lauriski and former US Assistant Secretary of Labor for the Mine Safety and Health Administration. "That's the vision; to use all the information available, rather than trying to manage risk purely from a reactive perspective after the accident happens."
Additionally, while the founding companies have traditionally focused their efforts in the mining industry, they will be expanding into new markets. This merger will facilitate future expansion into key, high-risk industries such as: transportation, oil and gas, healthcare, and maritime, bringing their predictive analytic technologies to more workers than ever before.
While CEO Mark Premo will oversee the company, founding members Dave Lauriski, Henry Bowles, Mark Savit and Tim Hobbs will remain as advisors to the company to ensure effective pursuit of their mission to reduce workplace harm. They currently are working under an interim operating agreement until sales have formally closed, following their current round of investment.

Without a clear strategy for cost control and an architecture designed with cloud services in mind, costs and operational performance can quickly get out of control.
