Steve Ligeti is Appointed New Chief Sales Officer of V-Count

Industry mogul, Steve Ligeti, leaves CountWise to become V-Count's Chief Sales Officer and Managing Partner

MIAMI, Jan. 12, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Recently, V-Count, a global people counting technology company, announced the hire of Steve Ligeti as its Chief Sales Officer and Managing Partner. Ligeti officially began his new role on December 12, 2016.

"Steve Ligeti was no stranger to us," said Demir Büyüközcü, CEO and Founder of V-Count. "Known as the trailblazer of our industry, he is a seasoned professional who demonstrates an inherent understanding not only of the technology and solutions we offer, but also of the reasons why our clients need people counting software and what they want to achieve by using it. His reputation, skills, knowledge and work ethic make him a perfect fit at V-Count and we're thrilled to have him onboard."

Ligeti now takes the lead on all V-Count sales initiatives on a global scale, including new and aggressive expansion plans into emerging Central and South America markets. He manages V-Count's internal sales teams in North America and Europe, and supports distributors, resellers and value added resellers (VARs) throughout the rest of the world. Serving both new customers and existing contacts with whom he has built relationships over the years, Steve is the expert who helps businesses customize and implement powerful analytics technologies that support business activities and raise profits. 2017 is shaping up to be an exciting year for V-Count and its team as the company ramps up for the launch of several new, industry-first features. These include the 3D+ Alpha Stereo Vision camera with built in Wi-Fi tracking, which provides an engineering unsurpassed 98% accuracy guarantee, as well as the V-Count Heatmap device that calculates the occupancy of specific areas within physical locations.

About his move to V-Count, Steve Ligeti commented, "Similar to what the famous Victor Kiam said of Remington Products in the late 1970s, I liked the company so much, I bought into it. After crossing paths quite unexpectedly with Demir at the Gitex Show in Dubai, it became abundantly clear to me that this is a company driven by brilliant minds who are extremely forward thinking in their approach and delivery of advanced customer behaviour analytics data. Given V-Count's broad range of technology and solution offerings, the potential for growth is tremendous – and for someone who's focused on the continual advancement of his career, this is the kind of corporation I want to work for."

V-Count has positioned itself as a leader in the field and a company that goes beyond merely the supply of software – it is an enterprise that offers clients complete, custom tailored people counting solutions that meet their unique needs and help them achieve a specific set of goals.
