Panasonic inicia experiências de demonstração do “HOSPI(R)”, um robô de entrega anônimo, em um aeroporto e um hotel

A Panasonic Corporation anunciou hoje que iniciará suas experiências de demonstração com o “HOSPI(R)”, um robô de entrega anônimo, a partir de meados de janeiro de 2017, em parceria com o Aeroporto Internacional de Narita e com o ANA Crowne Plaza Narita.

O HOSPI(R) é um robô que entrega produtos de forma autônoma em nome de pessoas. Com base em informações de mapas pré-programadas, e utilizando sensores de alto desempenho e algoritmo avançado para evitar colisões, o robô se move ao mesmo tempo que reconhece seu entorno, possibilitando a entrega de itens de forma segura e eficiente sem colidir em transeuntes ou em objetos ao longo de sua rota. Ao contrário dos sistemas de entrega tradicionais, o equipamento não precisa ser embutido em paredes ou tetos e as fitas guia não precisam ser colocadas ao longo da rota, então os destinos de entrega e as alterações de layout nas instalações podem ser feitas facilmente e com baixo custo. Reconhecido por esses recursos, o HOSPI(R) já é usado em quatro hospitais no Japão e em outros países para entregar fármacos e espécimes.

Nas experiências de demonstração a serem realizadas, os robôs recuperarão a louça usada no lounge do aeroporto e oferecerão bebidas no lobby do hotel. Através dessas experiências de demonstração, a Panasonic verificará a utilidade do HOSPI(R) na execução de outros tipos de serviços de entrega e na aceleração do desenvolvimento comercial do HOSPI(R).

1. Serviço de bebidas.

Período: de 14 de janeiro (sábado) a 18 de janeiro (quarta-feira) de 2017
Local: ANA Crowne Plaza Narita, Lobby 1.º andar
Descrição: o robô se movimentará pelo lobby oferecendo bebidas em garrafa aos hóspedes do hotel. Ele também fornecerá informações sobre horários de saída dos ônibus.

2. Coleta de louça.

Período: de 23 de janeiro (segunda-feira) a 27 de janeiro (sexta-feira) de 2017
Local: Aeroporto Internacional de Narita, “Narita Travel Lounge”
Descrição: o robô recolherá a louça usada e as entregará no balcão mais próximo.
