North Sails Races to Improve Global Sales Team Effectiveness with Bigtincan

Bigtincan, the mobile, AI-powered sales enablement platform leader, today announced that North Sails, the worldwide leader in sailmaking, has empowered its global salesforce team with the Bigtincan Hub platform. By delivering the right content at the right time to the right location, Bigtincan Hub saves North Sails sales reps time and improves how they access and use content and sales materials throughout the sales cycle.

As a worldwide leader in the sailmaking industry for 60 years, North Sails needed a way to evolve its selling techniques to reflect the changing landscape of technology and sales. Its sales team faced increasing difficulties, navigating multiple, fragmented tools and solutions in order to find the information and resources they needed to do their jobs. To streamline this process and allow them to be more effective in their roles, North Sails sought a solution that would consolidate all sales-related content into one location that was easy to use and access. After exploring many different options, North Sails selected Bigtincan Hub because of its easy-to-use interface, extensive content management capabilities, multi-platform flexibility and reputation for improving productivity and win rates for its users. Today, 160 sales reps worldwide are using Bigtincan Hub across five different languages, accessing the application on their choice of iOS, Android or Microsoft mobile device or web browser.

“Bigtincan Hub was by far the best fit for our sales enablement needs. Not only does it allow our sales team to manage content in one easy-to-access location, solving a critical pain point, it is also extremely easy and intuitive to use, accessible across platforms and languages, and customizable to our specific business needs,” explained Kimo Worthington, VP of North American Sales & Service, North Sails. “Since we deployed Bigtincan Hub, we’ve seen rapid adoption across the sales team, who love the pushed-content features and chat and collaboration tools the Hub delivers. Not only have we received overwhelmingly positive feedback, we’ve seen an increased demand from others outside of our sales department looking to take advantage of it.”

An additional selling point for North Sails on the Bigtincan Hub was Bigtincan Forms, which enables the organization to eliminate manual paper-based forms, automate data capture and implement process improvements, without requiring an entirely new infrastructure platform or stand-alone forms application. During the sales cycle, North Sails reps collect information across multiple areas – from design specifications to delivery details. With Bigtincan Hub, interactive forms can be easily created and delivered to users in a matter of minutes, for use both on and offline, and users can complete and submit error-free forms from any mobile or desktop device, securely and in real time.

“We built Bigtincan Hub to transform the way sales teams access, present, collaborate and share content, providing them with the flexibility to access content on whatever device they’re comfortable using,” explained David Keane, co-founder and CEO of Bigtincan. “North Sails is freeing up its sales team from wasting time searching for content across multiple sources so that it can focus more effectively on selling sails.”
