PERSTEXT Cute, an iOS app that makes it possible to enjoy easily editing photos with text that has a sense of perspective, and cute stamps, is now available

MELVILLE, N.Y., April 20, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Canon U.S.A., Inc., a leader in digital imaging solutions, today announced that Canon Marketing Japan Inc. (C MJ) has recently released PERSTEXT Cute, a free iOS app*1,2 that makes it possible to enjoy easily editing photos with text that has a sense of perspective, cute stamps, and composite images.

PERSTEXT Cute is a sibling app to the PERSTEXT app that makes it possible to add text to photos for a sense of perspective, and has been downloaded over 500 thousand times globally. Maintaining PERSTEXT's text with a sense of perspective, the PERSTEXT Cute app makes even easier operations possible with an intuitive user interface, and includes decoration functions such as stamps and composite photos for people who want to have fun making cute photos.2 There are 41 types of Christmas stamps in two themes (67 types in four themes when paid stamps*2 are included), so you can enjoy editing photos best suited to the Christmas season. This app runs on certain smartphones and tablets that support certain iOS versions.1

Various editing functions make it possible to express a sense of perspective with easy operations
With intuitive operation, by just pulling the four corners of the text entered on the photo, you can freely lay out text that has a sense of perspective. Furthermore, stylish and cute photo decoration is also possible with stamps, and combining cropped images. In addition, with in-app purchases, various filter functions and all kinds of text effects popular in PERSTEXT*2 can also be used, suitable for editing photos to post to your SNS accounts.

Easily share on SNS
From the menu button, completed images can easily be posted to your Twitter®, Facebook®, and Instagram® accounts, etc.*4 by selecting the type of SNS, and pressing the Post button.

You can also print to Canon PRINT Inkjet compatible inkjet printers
Linking with the Canon PRINT Inkjet app*4 means you can enjoy printing completed images to compatible PIXMA series inkjet printers by freely selecting your desired type and size of paper.

How to enjoy PERSTEXT Cute
Select a photo and enter some text. Next, by simply pulling the four corners of text with your finger on the photo, you can transform the text freely, and it is possible to express a three-dimensional sense of perspective. With in-app purchases, you can select suitable stamps from the multitudes available2, and it is also possible to crop and paste portions of other photos. Font and text color can be changed, making it possible to create photos that suit your desired image.

With PERSTEXT capable of detailed text adjustments to match the photo's perspective, and PERSTEXT Cute aimed at users who want to enjoy easily adding text with a sense of perspective to their photos, both apps offer ways for an even wider user segment to have fun with photos.
