Zillion Health and Vidyo Aim to Simplify Patient Engagement

Leading video collaboration technology provider Vidyo today announced a new partner in population health management, Zillion® Health, a cutting-edge patient engagement platform. Zillion is powering the face-to-face video communications component of their platform through the Vidyo.io API platform-as-a-service.

Zillion, an integrated engagement platform for care providers and health systems, combines content delivery, scheduling and communication – including telemedicine – to ensure that their patients benefit from the highest-quality collaboration experience possible, wherever they happen to be.

A leading cloud software provider for population and digital health management, Zillion Health’s interoperable, open platform integrates with legacy healthcare systems, offering personalized health access to millions of online consumers. Zillion is leveraging Vidyo’s deep experience in partnering with most of the leading healthcare providers, offering tight electronic medical record (EMR) integration through industry-standard workflows.

“We are proud to partner with Zillion Health, an innovator in continuous patient engagement and population health management,” said Vidyo Vice President of Telehealth Business Development Mark Noble. “The Zillion platform is empowering and meeting the needs of a highly mobile patient population, and their care teams require a telehealth experience that runs reliably and flexibly over WiFi, 4G and the public Internet.”

“Zillion’s partnership with Vidyo underscores our commitment to help make deep connections to users, whenever and wherever they want,” said Bill Van Wyck, President and Chief Innovation Officer at Zillion. “Digital and on-demand health shouldn’t be less human, and we look forward to working with Vidyo to further enhance the patient experience.”

Zillion improves patient engagement through relationship building, by offering a simple user experience, relevant content, analytics and tools that are tailored, personal and user-friendly. Zillion has embedded Vidyo APIs into their engagement platform to let medical professionals and patients easily connect face-to-face, via high-quality 1:1 or multiparty video collaboration from anywhere. They can conduct real-time live interaction, onboard new patients, schedule appointments, share important documents and forms, view results together and more.

Rather than pulling people out of their daily routines, Zillion helps doctors engage with patients in a personalized and convenient way - and face-to-face video collaboration via Vidyo assists in creating a system of connected care that is intelligent and human.

Today, Vidyo powers the top electronic health record systems and clinician workflows, visually-enabling telemedicine applications throughout the continuum of care for more than 250 U.S. integrated healthcare networks - representing more than 2,500 hospitals. Telehealth is taking off, not only in emergency rooms and ICUs but in all kinds of care settings - from family practices to nursing homes. Video collaboration is becoming ubiquitous across the healthcare continuum, to improve patient accessibility to quality care, while lowering costs.

Vidyo and Zillion are attending the ATA (American Telemedicine Association) 2017 event in Orlando, FL from 4/23 - 4/25, where they can be visited at booth number 933. Mark Noble is participating in a panel on connecting telehealth services with EMR and patient apps on Sunday, 4/23 at 3PM in the Experience Zone Theatre (booth # 1241).
