LMI Technologies Moves Up To #95 Overall on Branham's List of Top 250 Canadian Technology Companies

LMI Continues its Climb to the Summit of Canada's Technology Mountain by Achieving Strong Revenue Growth, a Significant Increase in Manufacturing Capacity, and over 50 New Hires in 2017

VANCOUVER, BC--(Marketwired - June 19, 2017) - LMI Technologies (LMI), a leading developer of 3D scanning and inspection solutions, is honoured to be recognized in the 2017 edition of the Branham Top 250 list, the definitive ranking of the country's top information and communication technology companies based on revenue.

This marks the first year LMI has broken into the top 100 of Branham's annual survey after placing #101 in 2016.

"It's an honor to be recognized by Branham300 as one of this year's top 100 Canadian technology companies. Our success is a total team effort made possible by the passion and commitment of more than 225 employees working around the world," said CEO Terry Arden.

2017 saw the company move to a new 62,400 sq.ft. corporate headquarters to ramp up manufacturing capacity and provide state-of-the-art staff amenities; open two new regional offices in China; and hire more than 50 new employees across China, North America and Europe.

"This year's success was fueled by the launch of several new laser profile and stereo snapshot products that strengthened our position in established factory automation markets, while allowing us to expand into exciting new inline inspection markets such as consumer electronics. We're confident these developments have set us up for long term growth for years to come," Arden said.

LMI products support numerous applications including automotive, aerospace and electronics manufacturing, wood processing, rubber & tire inspection, metals and casting, road and rail inspection, and general factory automation. As the industrial landscape evolves, LMI Technologies continues to develop smart 3D scanning and inspection solutions for the factories of tomorrow.

"Technology is the industry of the future, and Canada has the ability to compete on the global-economy stage. The companies on our Top 250 list are the ones that will build Canada's place in that economy and ensure our future competitiveness." - Wayne Gudbranson, CEO, Branham Group

The past few years have brought a sea change in the way applications are architected, developed, and consumed—increasing both the complexity of testing and the business impact of software failures. How can software testing professionals keep pace with modern application delivery, given the trends that impact both architectures (cloud, microservices, and APIs) and processes (DevOps, agile, and continuous delivery)? This is where continuous testing comes in. D
Recently, REAN Cloud built a digital concierge for a North Carolina hospital that had observed that most patient call button questions were repetitive. In addition, the paper-based process used to measure patient health metrics was laborious, not in real-time and sometimes error-prone. In their session at 21st Cloud Expo, Sean Finnerty, Executive Director, Practice Lead, Health Care & Life Science at REAN Cloud, and Dr. S.P.T. Krishnan, Principal Architect at REAN Cloud, discussed how they built...
