As part of the agreement Rahi Systems will provide inventory, support, and services. Customers have the option to buy or lease equipment. ServerLIFT products on average, help reduce the installation time of equipment by 40%, reduce workplace injuries and ensure that IT assets are installed and operated correctly.

“Efficiency is the name of the game in today’s data center operations. Given the dynamic nature of the IT environment, organizations need tools that can help them quickly unpack, transport and install rack-mounted equipment, and move it around as needed,” said Vivian Qi, Operations Manager, Rahi Systems. “ServerLIFT’s products speed the installation process, enabling one or two people to do the work of an entire team. And because it can transport and lift equipment weighing up to 453 kilograms, ServerLIFT reduces the risk that IT personnel will be injured when moving equipment, or that the equipment will be damaged.”

The agreement announced today reflects the growing relationship between Rahi and ServerLIFT. The two companies had previously announced distribution agreements covering the Southeast Asia Region, along with India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and other neighboring countries. Rahi has also signed a partner agreement with Daxten, a leading specialist in data center optimization, to resell the complete ServerLIFT product line in the Turkish market. Rahi offers ServerLIFT products in the U.S. under a reseller agreement.

“We are very pleased to partner with Rahi Systems, and continue to expand our relationship geographically,” said Steve Bashkin, Director of Sales, ServerLIFT. “Rahi’s expertise in data center infrastructure design and implementation is a natural fit for us. We believe our solutions bring added value to Rahi’s enterprise and service provider customers.”

DevOps is under attack because developers don’t want to mess with infrastructure. They will happily own their code into production, but want to use platforms instead of raw automation. That’s changing the landscape that we understand as DevOps with both architecture concepts (CloudNative) and process redefinition (SRE). Rob Hirschfeld’s recent work in Kubernetes operations has led to the conclusion that containers and related platforms have changed the way we should be thinking about DevOps and...

Companies are harnessing data in ways we once associated with science fiction. Analysts have access to a plethora of visualization and reporting tools, but considering the vast amount of data businesses collect and limitations of CPUs, end users are forced to design their structures and systems with limitations. Until now. As the cloud toolkit to analyze data has evolved, GPUs have stepped in to massively parallel SQL, visualization and machine learning.
The next XaaS is CICDaaS. Why? Because CICD saves developers a huge amount of time. CD is an especially great option for projects that require multiple and frequent contributions to be integrated. But… securing CICD best practices is an emerging, essential, yet little understood practice for DevOps teams and their Cloud Service Providers. The only way to get CICD to work in a highly secure environment takes collaboration, patience and persistence. Building CICD in the cloud requires rigorous ar...

Large industrial manufacturing organizations are adopting the agile principles of cloud software companies. The industrial manufacturing development process has not scaled over time. Enterprises are adopting Kubernetes to accelerate the development and the delivery of cloud-native applications. However, sharing a Kubernetes cluster between members of the same team can be challenging. And, sharing clusters across multiple teams is even harder. As a result, it’s becoming common for enterprises to end up with several clusters. Thi...
