Alibaba Group apoya la semana de la moda en Nueva York con Tmall

Alibaba Group (NYSE:BABA) y su plataforma Tmall, la plataforma de consumo más grande de china para marcas y comercios minoristas, anunció hoy que ya es uno de los socios oficiales de la semana de la moda New York Fashion Week (NYFW): The Shows, en asociación con Suntchi, para ayudar a los diseñadores y marcas a aprovechar la escala y la tecnología de Alibaba para llegar al mercado chino por primera vez.

En el marco de esta colaboración, Alibaba ha seleccionado diseñadores de NYFW para presentar sus colecciones en el segundo desfile anual "see-now buy-now" de Tmall 2017, un desfile de modas mundial que se realiza en octubre en el Festival de compras mundial 11.11 de Alibaba, el día de compras más grande del mundo. El año pasado, Alibaba transmitió el evento en vivo para siete millones de espectadores en todo el mundo, con la participación de más de 50 marcas internacionales. Colaborando con Alibaba, los diseñadores estadounidenses líderes como Opening Ceremony y Robert Geller podrán llegar por primera vez a los consumidores que utilizan las plataformas de Alibaba, que ya son más de 500 millones.

En un esfuerzo por promover el intercambio cultural entre Estados Unidos y China, esta asociación también presentará “NYFW: China Day”, un evento exclusivo que presentará a los diseñadores chinos líderes, seleccionados del desfile de modas "see-now buy-now" de Tmall 2017, durante NYFW: The Shows en septiembre de 2018.
