Il Tmall di Alibaba Group supporta New York Fashion Week: The Shows

Tmall di Alibaba Group (NYSE:BABA), la più grande piattaforma commerciale cinese dedicata a brand e rivenditori, ha annunciato di essere diventata un partner ufficiale di New York Fashion Week (NYFW): The Shows, in associazione con Suntchi, per aiutare gli stilisti e i marchi statunitensi a raggiungere per la prima volta il mercato cinese sfruttando la portata e la tecnologia di Alibaba.

La collaborazione prevede la selezione da parte di Alibaba di stilisti presenti a NYFW per l'inclusione nella seconda sfilata di moda annuale 2017 'see-now buy-now' di Tmall, un evento di moda globale che si svolgerà questo ottobre in preparazione all'11.11 Global Shopping Festival di Alibaba, la giornata più importante per lo shopping a livello globale. L'anno scorso, Alibaba ha trasmesso l'evento in live stream a sette milioni di spettatori, presentando più di 50 marchi internazionali. Collaborando con Alibaba, grandi nomi della moda statunitense, come Opening Ceremony e Robert Geller, acquisteranno immediata visibilità presso l'oltre mezzo miliardo di consumatori che visitano le piattaforme di Alibaba.

Nello sforzo di promuovere gli scambi culturali fra gli Stati Uniti e la Cina, la collaborazione introdurrà anche “NYFW: China Day”, un evento unico che vedrà la partecipazione di importanti stilisti cinesi selezionati dalla sfilata Tmall 2017 ‘see-now buy-now’, nel corso di NYFW: The Shows nel settembre 2018.
