Tmall do Grupo Alibaba patrocina a New York Fashion Week: The Shows

Tmall do Grupo Alibaba (NYSE:BABA), a maior plataforma de consumo da China para marcas e varejistas, anunciou que se tornou um parceiro oficial da New York Fashion Week (NYFW): The Shows, em associação com a Suntchi, para ajudar estilistas e marcas americanas a tirar proveito do alcance e tecnologia da Alibaba para alcançar no mercado chinês pela primeira vez.

Como parte da colaboração, a Alibaba selecionou estilistas da NYFW para se apresentarem no segundo desfile de moda anual "see-now buy-now" do Tmall, em 2017, um evento global de moda que acontecerá em outubro, no período que antecede o 11.11 Global Shopping Festival da Alibaba, o maior dia de compras do mundo. No ano passado, a Alibaba transmitiu esse evento ao vivo para sete milhões de telespectadores e apresentou mais de 50 marcas internacionais. Ao colaborar com a Alibaba, os principais estilistas americanos, como a Opening Ceremony e Robert Geller ganharão a primeira exposição para mais de meio bilhão de consumidores que visitam as plataformas da Alibaba.

Em um esforço para incentivar o intercâmbio intercultural entre os EUA e a China, a parceria também apresentará a "NYFW: China Day", um evento exclusivo com os principais estilistas chineses, selecionados no desfile de moda Tmall 2017 "see-now buy-now" durante a NYFW: The Shows em setembro de 2018.
