For the second consecutive week, Golf (#2) is above par and high on the top 10 list of most popular search terms, gaining 268% in search activity over the past week. For the first time in the history of The Lycos 50, Golf has dominated the number two slot, receiving 16% more searches than YouTube (#3) and currently 23% more popular than MySpace (#4). Actress Mary Louise Parker (#24), star of the hit HBO series "Weeds," makes her debut on this week's list as the biggest Mover & Shaker up 267% in web popularity ahead of mainstays Lindsay Lohan (#27), Angelina Jolie (#30) and Carmen Electra (#33). Meanwhile, the wrestling babes of the WWE (#13), Stephanie McMahon (#22) and Trish Stratus (#26) continue to have a prominent presence online, although neither one is actively competing in the ring.

Also from the world of the WEE, Chyna jumps in search interest, up 153% this week, though not enough to land on The Lycos 50 list. Disney (#5) and the "High School Musical 2" juggernaut continue to crush the competition, gaining 93% in search popularity over the past week. Breakout star of the summer, Zac Efron (#36), also sees an 81% jump in searches, up from #45 the previous week. Efron not only stars on the small screen in "High School Musical 2," but is also enjoying the sweet small of success from his big screen role in "Hairspray."
