ISDI Digital University Launches First Ever Online Master's Degree for Digital Business, Bringing Silicon Valley Leadership and Network Nationwide

SAN JOSE, Calif., Nov. 14, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, ISDI Digital University announces the launch of the first fully Online Master's Degree in Internet Business (MIB), which begins on November 29th. The first of its kind in the United States, this nine-month immersive program is designed to provide the skills necessary to thrive in a rapidly changing digital economy and allow access to a network of Silicon Valley leaders regardless of a student's location. ISDI's online program provides an unprecedented level of access to the best and brightest technology and business minds in Silicon Valley, who have designed a real-world curriculum that will bridge the digital skills gap and propel careers to the next level.

"As a university on the front lines of digital change, we are excited to launch the online version of our MIB program, a program designed to offer a current, practical, cutting edge education based on our academic team's own successes in Silicon Valley," says Amir Mashkoori, CEO and cofounder of ISDI Digital University. "We recognize the value of being able to provide this knowledge and access to network across the nation."

Steve Cadigan, cofounder of ISDI Digital University and former VP of Talent at LinkedIn follows that the MIB does not stop at learning, "Digital transformation is affecting almost every company in the country and one of the biggest impediments is finding the right talent to keep up with the digital change taking place. Companies and individuals alike have an incredible opportunity to stay ahead of this curve by arming themselves with the right talent and a strong, well connected network. Our mission at ISDI is to be part of this solution and help students and companies become the leaders of digital transformation."

Following the successful model of the in-person program, the MIB Online offers 16 thematic modules and applied learning projects that give students a comprehensive view into the world of digital business and provides the opportunity to put these learned digital skills into real-time practice. This in-depth curriculum will be complemented by live face time sessions with mentors, members of the Academic Board, and specific digital and business experts to ensure student success.

"Business today is nothing like it was five years ago - or even five months ago," says Jenny Ming, former President of Old Navy, and current CEO of Charlotte Russe. "The retail industry has been heavily impacted by the move to digital and the biggest challenge has been to change the culture and build a team who can drive us to success. I'm thrilled to partner with a university that is preparing its students to take this challenge, head on."

ISDI's MIB program is designed to set individuals up for success, regardless of their career or education backgrounds, and is recognized by California's Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education (BPPE) as a Master's Degree. The MIB Online's accelerated, cutting-edge curriculum is routinely reviewed by ISDI's Faculty and Academic Board to reflect the latest topics and trends in the digital industry.
