Delaget unveils QSR industry's first end-to-end data management platform

Cloud-based solution selected by Summerwood Corporation

SAINT LOUIS PARK, Minn., Nov. 14, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Delaget, a leading modern business intelligence and outsourcing company focused on helping QSR franchises reclaim margin and increase efficiencies, today announced the release of its end-to-end data management solution called Delaget Data Management platform (DDMP).

DDMP is a cloud-based service that allows Quick Service Restaurant operators to introduce new technology into their business effortlessly and at any time, without the risk of disrupting their business processes or the burden of trying to manage the data integrations or flows themselves.

"Restaurant operators must manage a host of data sources, from point of sale (POS) to back of house, drive-thru timers, cameras, and more," explains Jason Tober, CEO for Delaget. "These systems are notoriously siloed, making it difficult and expensive for franchisees to change or add new software, integrate it with their home-grown data warehouse, and ensure data is flowing into and out of all the right places for payroll, financial reporting and other downstream systems."

Multi-brand operators are hit especially hard because they likely are running different systems for each brand, multiplying the complexity and making visibility across their business extremely difficult.

Delaget Data Management platform removes all of these issues, giving restaurant operators the freedom to focus their attention on guest experience, employees, and running a competitive business.

DDMP brings together the data from all of an operator's systems into one data warehouse where the data is cleaned and prepared for use in analysis or to share across other software systems and business processes. It significantly alleviates the IT burden, insulating franchisees from the technological challenges of adopting new systems or meeting new export requirements. And operators with multiple brands are able to consolidate and compare performance across all their concepts.

Several QSR franchisees have selected DDMP as their data management solution, including Summerwood Corporation, who operates more than 100 restaurants across four concepts including Taco Bell. Summerwood turned to Delaget for help in making the conversion to a new back of house system and simplifying their technology infrastructure.

Terry Brown-Walker, Vice President and CTO at Summerwood, explains why they chose Delaget, "We believe that, with all the changes going on in the Taco Bell world, Delaget is the foremost reporting and data management company that will provide the kind of service and dependability we need. We currently have our own data warehouse, but we'll be retiring it and not managing as much in house, and outsourcing to a reliable, stable company like Delaget makes a lot of sense for us. As franchisees are expected to do more and more, Delaget's data management platform and business intelligence tools will be important for our success."

For Terry, her trust in Delaget comes down to reliability, dependability, and service. "In the years that I have been affiliated with Delaget, we've developed strong relationships," she says. "We're looking forward to a long and promising future with Delaget."
