CSOFT CEO Shunee Yee Participates in FORTUNE GLOBAL FORUM in Guangzhou, China

GUANGZHOU, China, Dec. 6, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- CSOFT International Ltd., a leading provider of translation services and globalization solutions, announced today that CEO Shunee Yee will be participating in the Fortune Global Forum from December 6th through 8th. This year's forum is held in Guangzhou, China, and features some of the most influential business leaders from China and around the world, including Jack Ma of Alibaba, Tim Cook of Apple, Pony Ma of Tencent, and Bill Ford of Ford Motor Company.

Shunee Yee participates in this year's Fortune Global Forum with top business leaders from around the world.

The forum will focus on major issues and opportunities that multinational enterprises face as they embrace challenges with a rapidly changing China and global digital economy. According to the official Fortune Forum overview, many industries are being challenged and transformed by breakthroughs in artificial intelligence, biotechnology, drones, robotics, the Internet of Things, self-driving vehicles, nanotechnology, 3-D printing, new energy, and other rapidly advancing fields. These blazing fast changes and business transformations force companies to become more agile, nimble, and smart in our digital world. At the same time, globalization—despite its many successes—is being challenged by a backlash against trade and immigration in different parts of the world.

This year's Fortune Forum comes at an especially important time as a large number of colliding forces combine to create the most complex global economic environment the world has ever seen. A major focus of this year's Fortune Forum is on China's fundamental economic transformation—the rapid development of a burgeoning and massive middle class, accelerating urbanization, and expanding digital technologies—and the many opportunities it provides to multinational companies. In terms of language services, the combined GDP for English and Chinese speaking countries now accounts for over 60% of the global total.

"This creates enormous opportunities for English to Chinese and Chinese to English language translations," commented Shunee Yee, CSOFT President and CEO. "With our game-changing cloud and mobile translation technology and extensive presence in China and the US, CSOFT is poised to capitalize on these exciting big translation requirements for English-Chinese as well as over 100 other languages."

The rapidly developing digital economy represents an exceptional time for the language industry as global enterprises increasingly require language translation services that are on-demand and in real time in order to beat their competitors and get ahead in international markets.
