Helsinki Region Transport führt weltweit erste für jedermann zugängliche Handelsplattform für öffentlichen Personenverkehr ein

Helsinki Region Transport (HSL) erstellt offene Handelsplattform, die es jedermann an einem beliebigen Ort in Finnland und im Ausland ermöglicht, Einzeltickets im Einzelhandelsvertrieb zu erwerben. Diese Plattform wird im nächsten Jahr unter sales-api.hsl.fi zur Verfügung stehen. Gleichzeitig lädt HSL alle Verkehrsunternehmen in Finnland und im Ausland ein, neue Mobilitätsdienstleistungen für diese Schnittstelle zu entwickeln und Neuerungen zu diesem Zweck einzuführen.

„Wir erstellen eine höchst innovative und moderne digitale API-Schnittstelle für den Einzelhandel. Ein großer Teil der Arbeit liegt noch vor uns. Wir vertrauen jedoch darauf, dass eine Vielzahl von Unternehmen und innovativen Pilotprojekten kreative Mehrwertdienste mithilfe dieser Schnittstelle schaffen werden. HSL verfügt über umfassende Fachkenntnisse zu offenen Schnittstellen und ihren Gepflogenheiten. Dies gilt insbesondere für den äußerst populären Fahrplandienst Reittiopas, der offene Schnittstellen bereits seit 15 Jahren verwendet. Für eine offene Verkaufs-API sind jedoch Sicherheitsfragen und die Minimierung von Geschäftsrisiken von ausschlaggebender Bedeutung.

„Die Öffnung von Schnittstellen für den Zugang zu Daten ist erheblich einfacher als die Öffnung einer öffentlichen Verkaufsschnittstelle, die für große Geldbeträge und hohe Transaktionsvolumina verantwortlich ist. Wir möchten gewährleisten, dass die Schnittstelle keinerlei Risiken für die Informationssicherheit oder Kreditrisiken birgt. Rund 370 Millionen Reisen werden jährlich auf Basis der Transportdienste von HSL unternommen und Dutzende von Millionen Verkaufstransaktionen getätigt. Wir sprechen hier also über riesige Volumina”, betonte Hannu Heikkinen, Director of Technology Solutions Department bei HSL. Die Schnittstelle von HSL wird auch nach ihrem ersten Start weiterentwickelt.

Parallel hierzu wird HSL ein zweijähriges Idea Lab Programm für Mobilitätsdienste einführen und Transportunternehmen aus Finnland und dem Ausland einladen, sich an dem Programm zu beteiligen. Das Idea Lab Projekt von HSL überprüft die Betriebsmodelle der Transportdienste im Rahmen einer gemeinsamen Aktion.

„Wir weisen gegenwärtig Mittel von HSL für das MaaS-Projekt (Mobility-as-a-Service) zu und stellen ein Team zusammen, um Mobilitätsdienste im HSL-Einzugsbereich mithilfe einer Vielzahl von Pilotprojekten zu entwickeln. Im Rahmen des Idea Lab wird ein Innovationswettbewerb für Mobilitätsdienste durchgeführt, um Ideen für die Pilotprojekte zu sammeln. Diese Vorschläge können physische Mobilitätsdienste, den Ticketverkauf und die Marketingkooperation sowie kombinierte und Vermittlungsdienste für Reiseketten oder das Austesten automatisierter Transportsysteme betreffen. Die Erfahrungen der Pilotprojekte werden bewertet und dienen in der Folge als Grundlage für die Weiterentwicklung der HSL Dienste”, so Mari Flink.
