Out of 2,000 women surveyed between the ages of 17-35, 42% think that the beauty industry is still influenced by NYFW. Full survey results: http://info.perfect365.com/nyfwinfographic

“I was really excited to use the Perfect365 PRO app during New York Fashion Week again this year,” said Gucci Westman. “I love the color drop feature, where I can take a photo of a product I am using and apply it to a look I am creating, or try the product on virtually right then and there. The app streamlines the whole process of creating a makeup look, but also offers unlimited creative possibilities, and I think it’s a vital tool for makeup artists, during New York Fashion Week and beyond.”

Gucci Westman is one of the world’s top celebrity makeup artists with clients that include Drew Barrymore, Julianne Moore, Gwyneth Paltrow, Cameron Diaz, Jennifer Lawrence and Anne Hathaway. Gucci has been a consultant for many years for top makeup brands and has always been sought out for her expertise to develop colors and create looks for each season. She was Artistic Director at Lancome, Global Artistic Director at Revlon and currently is consulting for skincare specialist brand SKII. For NYFW A/W 2018, she designed the makeup look for the iconic designers Badgley Mischka. As part of this partnership, Perfect365 users can try on the look created by Gucci Westman directly within the Explorer section of the app after the runway show.

“We are thrilled to work with a makeup artist as renowned and respected as Gucci Westman. Perfect365 PRO has continued to gain traction among makeup artists interested in designing looks for clients, in addition to its continued usage at NYFW to communicate makeup looks backstage,” explains Cara Harbor, Director of Marketing, Perfect365, Inc.

A strange thing is happening along the way to the Internet of Things, namely far too many devices to work with and manage. You know you need the cloud, but you’re hesitant to simply dump everything at Amazon since you know that not all workloads are suitable for cloud. You know that you want the kind of ease of use and scalability that you get with public cloud, but your applications are architected in a way that makes the public cloud a non-starter. You’re looking at private cloud solutions based on hyperconverged infrastructure, but you’re concerned with the limits inherent in those technologies.

The cloud era has reached the stage where it is no longer a question of whether a company should migrate, but when. Enterprises have embraced the outsourcing of where their various applications are stored and who manages them, saving significant investment along the way. Plus, the cloud has become a defining competitive edge. Companies that fail to successfully adapt risk failure. The media, of course, continues to extol the virtues of the cloud, including how easy it is to get there. Migrating...
