Gemalto protege redes 5G avançadas contra ataques cibernéticos empregando o Intel® Software Guard Extensions

Esta nova iniciativa combina um enclave confiável do Intel® SGX (Intel® Software Guard Extensions)(1), implementado nas CPUs do servidor na nuvem da empresa, líder do setor, com o serviço de software de segurança SafeNet Data Protection On Demand da Gemalto, para criar uma solução de segurança robusta para processadores de redes virtualizadas.

As funções das redes físicas estão sendo migradas para a nuvem, o que produz um número maior de “superfícies de ataque” para forças mal-intencionadas, e um dos desafios do setor móvel é garantir a proteção de identidade, a confidencialidade e a integridade dessas funções de rede recentemente virtualizadas. Através da abordagem desse fator, a solução combinada protege as redes virtualizadas desde o núcleo até a sua fronteira (edge) de múltiplo acesso, garantindo que as funções e aplicativos virtuais que residem nas camadas de rede estão protegidos e isolados.
