New Company Sets Sights On Treating Concussions

Neurologics applies proprietary technology to remediate and improve brain function for traumatic brain injuries

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., July 11, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- A new company based out of Southern California is setting its sights on addressing our nation's concussion crisis in a major way. Four to five million concussions occur annually and an estimated 5.3 million Americans live with a traumatic brain injury (TBI) related disability. While fixes like better helmets and the ability to detect concussions in the sports sector are helping, Neurologics' innovative technology could be the life-changer.

Dr. Eagan and Neurologics Co-Founder Karen Odell-Barber, MS, CISD, want to change that. The innovative company is at the intersection of mainstream neuroscience and software technology. Their model provides custom-designed, non-invasive, drug-free treatment programs for individuals struggling with cognitive deficits related to TBIs such as concussions. Issues with memory, attention and cognitive function are precisely diagnosed and treated.
